Here’s a brief overview of SSP Tours
1.Photography Learning Through Indoor & Outdoor Sessions
The workshop begins with interactive classroom sessions where Sudhir covers essential camera settings, followed by a hands-on outdoor session to apply them in real scenarios. In the evening, a dedicated composition session will guide you in creating award-winning images for the remainder of the workshop. These sessions ensure you grasp both the basics and advanced concepts, ready to put them into practice in the field.
2.Guided Assignments for Creative Mastery
During the safaris, Sudhir will give you targeted assignments designed to explore different aspects of composition and create images with competition-winning potential. Building on the concepts learned in the classroom, you’ll put theory into practice in real-world conditions. Sudhir will guide you on camera settings, composition, and adapting to field challenges to ensure each assignment sharpens both your technical skills and creative vision.
3.Crafting Your Final Masterpieces
After each safari, Sudhir will review your images, help you shortlist the best shots, and teach you how to identify and eliminate weaker frames. You’ll then learn step-by-step how to process these shortlisted images in Lightroom. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have completed your assignments and curated a polished collection of your best work from the trip.
4.Through the Judge’s Lens
In the workshop, Sudhir will take you through the complete process of judging images—introducing 6–8 key parameters used in professional evaluations and guiding you on how to apply them. Once you return home, you’ll submit your top three images from the tour and evaluate fellow participants’ entries using the same criteria. This hands-on judging experience sharpens your eye for detail, helps you understand what competition judges look for, and sets a strong foundation for entering—and winning—photography contests.
5.Showcase Your Work
After the workshop, participants will be invited to join the Instagram account @SSPWildTours. Once connected, they can create collaboration posts with this account, which Sudhir will share on his main Instagram handle—giving their images greater visibility and a wider audience reach.
6.Fun Times
While we take our photography seriously, we never forget the importance of laughter, great company, and unforgettable moments. Breakfasts in the wild during safaris are a chance to share stories, exchange tips, and get to know each other—just like the lively bush breakfasts in the Mara. The final night of the workshop is our official party night over a celebratory dinner, where we toast to great sightings, new skills, and shared adventures. Beyond the images you capture, you’ll take home lasting memories, new friendships, and the joy of having experienced the wild together.
